“With great flexibility and interpersonal skills, Arianna explains how she coordinates different teams and processes, tackling daily challenges with attention to detail and mutual trust.”
Michela: Arianna, you joined a year ago, in March 2025, bringing with you a wealth of experience across different sectors; Imesa already represents the fourth stage of your professional journey. Today, you coordinate three key areas essential to the company’s operations: purchasing, planning, and mechanical processing. A complex role that requires organization, vision, and, above all, strong interpersonal skills. Could you tell us how you came to Imesa, and what your professional path has been so far?
Arianna: With pleasure! I joined Imesa after responding to a job offer that HR had sent me via LinkedIn. From the very first interviews, I had a very positive impression of both Marco Achilli, our CEO, and Alessandro Franciolini, the Operations Manager and my direct supervisor: they both conveyed professionalism, clarity, and openness. This feeling was confirmed once I started at the company and helped me settle in very well.
Changing sectors always pushes you to challenge yourself, observe carefully, and learn quickly, developing great flexibility. I believe that this adaptability, combined with curiosity and the desire to test myself, has helped me approach this new challenge at Imesa with confidence and integrate quickly into the teams, understanding the company processes right from the start and being able to contribute from day one.
Michela: Today you manage three different teams. What has been your biggest challenge?
Arianna: Without a doubt, the biggest challenge has been managing people. Coordinating three teams means dealing daily with very different activities and colleagues who have diverse backgrounds and experiences. There are young professionals, enthusiastic and full of energy, and more experienced colleagues with years of know-how behind them. Finding a balance between these realities, valuing everyone’s skills, and creating a smooth workflow has been a significant challenge, but I must say that I’m really enjoying it.
Michela: Practically speaking, how does your typical workday unfold?
Arianna: One of the central aspects of my role is coordinating timelines. When an order comes from the sales department, work immediately begins with the Project Managers to plan all activities and ensure deadlines are met. In this process, the purchasing office plays a key role in managing and coordinating all the parties involved, ensuring that each project runs smoothly. Being organized and having an overall vision allow us to face each challenge in a structured and effective way.
Michela: what do you think is Imesa’s strongest point?
Arianna: I would say, without hesitation, consistency. It’s a value that is evident in the way the company operates, in relationships between people, and in organizational decisions. This clarity helps create a reliable and serene environment where everyone knows what to expect and how to act.
I have great trust in Alessandro Franciolini and in the management team. For me, it’s essential to be able to freely express my ideas and know that my feedback is heard. This climate of trust allows me to take initiative, propose solutions, and give my best, truly expressing my potential.
Michela: Among the projects you’ve been involved in, is there one you feel particularly attached to?
Arianna: Definitely the Family Day event, which brought together all my colleagues with their families and was organized in October 2025. It was a new experience for me, and participating in its organization was very stimulating: seeing the participants’ satisfaction and the team’s enthusiasm was incredibly rewarding.
Another project I care deeply about is the “idea box”, which we placed at the entrance of both the offices and the workshop. It represents a tangible space where everyone can contribute suggestions and proposals. I like to think that even small ideas can lead to significant improvements and changes.
Michela: Arianna, your enthusiasm really comes through in the way you tackle daily challenges. Is there anything in particular that you especially enjoy or appreciate about the company’s welfare initiatives?
Arianna (sorridendo): I would say… Friday afternoons off! Jokes aside, it’s a choice that shows how much the company values work-life balance and allows everyone to recharge their energy for the week ahead!
