Sustainability
Our commitment reflects our willingness to take social and environmental responsibility for our actions. We look to the future by promoting the adoption of eco-friendly processes, aimed at protecting and enhancing the environment for us and future generations.
The region, the environment, the enterprise
IMESA has its headquarters in Jesi, in the province of Ancona, in the Marche region, in central Italy. The territory of the province of Ancona encompasses two nature parks, the Conero Park and the Gola della Rossa-Frasassi Park. The hinterland of the province is made up of several villages of medieval origins with interesting historical centers.
Jesi is located in the heart of “Marche model”, in which a condition is realized more than ever in favor of quality and standard of living, where the typical “rural culture is still present.”
The taste for the work, the propensity to save, simplicity, accountability and respect for the traditions, strong business acumen and innovation, wide dissemination of knowledge, skilled, flexible business and system, are all conditions that make this province, in general of the Marche region, an area of social balance open to development.
Environmental sustainability
Environmental protection is a constant commitment that underlies the IMESA company!
The sustainability objectives describe our ambitions and how we intend to achieve them.
For environmental aspects related to IMESA activities, we have defined company policies and programs to reduce energy, water, hazardous substances and materials consumption, maximize waste recycling and improve the management of company assets.
We collaborate with customers and suppliers who are sensitive to the issue of environmental sustainability.
ESG committee
IMESA has established an internal ESG Committee (Environmental, Social, and Governance) Committee, a significant step towards strengthening environmental, social and governance sustainability practices.
The ESG Committee is made up of a team, with the aim of guiding the implementation of ESG initiatives within the company. They will be responsible for developing strategies, defining objectives, monitoring progress and communicate the results to various stakeholders in a transparent and verifiable manner.
In its ESG strategy, the Committee has recognized 10 SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) as relevant among those defined by the United Nations 2030 Agenda, all in line with the objectives set by the Imesa Board of Directors in its long-term strategy.
By implementing clear sustainable and ethical practices, we want to contribute in an active and meaningful way to the well-being of environment, the communities in which we operate and society as a whole.
Our commitment to ESG reflects our willingness to take social and environmental responsibility for our actions. We want to become a company that looks to the future and is committed day after day to building a healthier and fairer world for us and future generations, starting from the construction, at all operational levels, of a new corporate culture, oriented towards sustainability and shared social commitment: ESG not as a way of thinking, but of being.
Code of Ethics
We are committed to promoting corporate integrity by creating an inclusive, fair, safe and welcoming working environment that respects a transparent, ethical governance model that complies with the highest standards
