Michela: Hi Giulio, welcome back! In Imesa for 37 years with a break of about one and a half. What made you change your mind to come back?
Giulio: Imesa was looking for a person with experience in project design. Marco Achilli, the CEO, called me directly and immediately I had the feeling he was a very proactive person with a volcano of innovative ideas. He made me feel involved in the ambitious projects he was working on and thus, I decided I wanted to be part of it.
Michela: What pushed you to change job instead?
Giulio: The period the company was in at that time was critical, not at a work level, but as we all know I was worried about the financial situation which was expected to be difficult. Now things have improved and I see a more long-term program of strategies, this makes me feel confident.
Michela: Can you describe the company you found when you returned?
Giulio: The first thing that struck me was the enthusiasm of the colleagues in the office, I immediately felt a good atmosphere among colleagues, something that I didn’t find in the workshop. As far as I’m concerned, I haven’t changed my job. Being an electrical designer is what I’ve always have been and what I like to do, so I am really happy. In terms of company restructuring, I still cannot express a precise opinion.
Michela: How were you welcomed by your old and new colleagues?
Giulio: Well, actually I have always remained in contact with many of them, so I was happy to return and be able to continue working together and at the same time to meet new people.
Michela: Which of the new initiatives recently introduced in Imesa do you appreciate the most?
Giulio: I really appreciate the working hours flexibility and the possibility of being able to plan holidays, this will allow me to better balance family life with work.
Michela: In light of your experience outside, what could still be improved in Imesa?
Giulio: Well, as I was telling you, I see a bit of trouble in the factory, operational difficulties in managing work and mood, mainly due to lack of staff. I have the feeling that some key figures are missing and have not yet been replaced.
Michela: Thanks Giulio and good work!
