36kV HV switchboards for urban tramway
For the extension of Constantine Tram Line 1, IMESA supplied six metal-enclosed, arc-proof medium-voltage switchgears.
The switchgears, with a nominal voltage of 36kV, a current of 630A, and a breaking capacity of 12kA, were designed to ensure safety, reliability, and compatibility with urban public transport infrastructure, even in high-density environments. The supply, intended for Alstom Algérie SpA, complies with IEC 62271 standards and represents an ideal solution for electric traction systems, substations, and MV cabins in the transport and mobility sector.
